ASB opening new branch in Kilbirnie
ASB’s programme to expand its nationwide branch network to meet customer demand has reached another milestone, with the opening of the new Kilbirnie branch in Wellington.
ASB Regional Manager, Midland Region, Kevin Manera says the decision to open a new branch in Kilbirnie is in response to demand from the growing number of ASB customers in Wellington’s eastern suburbs.
“ASB is undertaking a significant branch investment programme, based on new design philosophies and features. The new branch at 35 Bay Road will offer the very latest in banking technology,” says Mr Manera.
Branch features include:
- FastNet - internet banking in-branch for ASB customers
- FastChange - A convenient change machine so customers can get change for their businesses when it suits them - no need to - come in during bank hours
- FastDeposit - a quick and convenient way to deposit money
- The latest ASB ATMs
- FastCount - a coin sorting machine located in the branch. The ASB FastCount machine sorts or bags coins before they are deposited
- Video conference phones to provide customers access to a wide range of ASB specialists face to face
“We are also looking after the social needs of our customers with relaxing couches and coffee facilities available. As with our other new branches, there will also be a dedicated noticeboard for our community customers to publicise their upcoming events,” he says.
Branch manager Ruth Winsloe says her team are looking forward to helping ASB customers in the eastern suburbs with their banking needs.
“Many of our customers choose to come into a branch for face-to-face conversations with us about their banking needs so it’s important for ASB to have a presence in the eastern suburbs. We invite ASB customers and non-customers alike along to our new branch on opening day,” Ms Winsloe says.
The new ASB Kilbirnie Branch will open on Monday, 16 May.
