Glass two-thirds full or one-third empty?

	The NZIER’s quarterly business survey was unremarkable in its results, but remarkable for some of the headlines it generated.
	The survey results, even with a slight softening, are still at quite decent levels and suggest the economy will continue to expand at a respectable pace.
	This week the focus goes on the Q2 CPI inflation figures – and we hope they will be less contentious! Although inflation is benign now, it will be less so in the future – hence the RBNZ’s recent decision to lift the OCR.
