ASB announces head of new Marketing & Online division
ASB has announced the appointment of Roger Beaumont to the Bank’s Executive Leadership team in the role of Executive General Manager, Marketing & Online. Mr Beaumont will commence in this new role from 3 October 2011, at which time he will assume leadership of the Brand & Marketing, PR & External Relations and Internet Banking teams.
“We are very fortunate to have an executive of Roger's calibre and experience joining us to head up this new division,” says Barbara Chapman, Chief Executive of ASB. “In this newly-created role, he will oversee our brand and reputation to compete in the evolving digital environment.”
Prior to joining ASB, Mr Beaumont held senior leadership roles at MediaWorks for 10 years, including eight years as Director of Marketing & Communications. He also has previous history with ASB having held the role of senior account director when working for the Bank’s external PR company between 1996 and 1999.
